Bare Republic's

Every summer I find a new line of beauty products that really stand out among the rest. This year it’s Bare Republic’s Eco-friendly skin and hair care line. What I love about them this the fact that they smell great, they’re vegan friendly, they’re made with organic ingredients and they work wonders. Here’s a little bit about two of my favorites… Eco-Active Hair care UV Protecting Dry Shampoo – 3oz, $14 I’ve been searching for the “perfect” dry shampoo for a long time. Beauty Blunders - Skin

When I started writing this article I intended on writing about a few common beauty blunders that myself or my friends had made in the past and what we did to fix them. As I kept writing more and more problems started popping into my head, so not to bombard you, this is going to be a series on how to fix those common issues that we’re all guilty of making, or probably will make at some point. I have a love-hate relationship with moving. It’s something I’ve done many times and while I love moving into a new space, the process of boxing up everything I own isn’t something I particularly enjoy. I’ve always loved unicorns, starting with my obsession with Lisa Frank as a child. In the past few years they have made a huge comeback. Designers like Alexander McQueen, Kate Spade, Valentino, and Jeremy Scott have featured unicorns in their collections and in their runway shows. Clothing companies such as, ASOS, Dolls Kill, Topshop, and H&M have drawn off the inspiration and currently feature whimsical merchandise in their store or online boutique. I’ve scoured the Internet to find the best high end, to inexpensive unicorn inspired clothing and accessories that will make you reminisce on your childhood. Rebecca Minkoff – Hudson Moto Mini, $135. Christian Louboutin – Loubichrome I Nail Polish, Christian Louboutin, $30. Tokidoki – Unicorno Series 5Read More →

Carry On 101--Flying Back Home For The Holidays

In December like millions of others, I’ll be flying back home for the holidays. Take it from someone who’s had her fair share of flight drama, like a flight delayed overnight, canceled because of bad weather, luggage lost twice (one of the times it took four days to receive!), and lost my license the day before flying…that I’ve learned what and what not to pack in my carry on bag. A good book.  The Girls, $16.20 Makeup bag / samples. Usually when I buy makeup, they give free samples. I save those and pack them in my carry on.
