Vacation at the Connecticut shoreline

I couldn’t have asked for a better end to the summer. Billy and I took our much anticipated trip to the East Coast. We spent a week and a half in Massachusetts prior to our 10 day vacation in Westbrook, Connecticut (the same seaside town I grew up going to every year). While we were in CT, my parents and I took a day trip to Block Island and explored the picturesque seaside town. This past week, I’ve been looking at my photos and reliving the memories of this amazing vacation that I documented on my InstaStories. From the moment I left this quaint beachRead More →

los angeles coffee shops

Working from home can be convenient, but have you ever tried working from a coffee shop? I’ve always been the most productive working outside of my home. It may seem like a distraction, but once you’re in the setting, you learn to block out distractions and become efficient versus staying at home and choosing to have Netflix playing in the background. The great thing about coffee shops is that they have comfortable furniture, calming music, opportunities for networking with other creatives, and unlimited amounts of caffeine! I decided to go on a neighbor tour where I tried their food, their Wifi, and of course theirRead More →

Evening Summer Soiree

I recently threw a party to celebrate my 25th birthday. Being a milestone, I wanted to host an extra special event, so I planned an evening summer soirée with my closest friends and family. I curated everything from the food and beverages, to the decor and the floral arrangements, with a few DIY projects in between. It was a magnificent event that took a lot of preparation but was so worth the effort. You will see that throwing a successful party can be made easier with the appropriate planning and a bit of creativity! Planning for the Event I knew it would be sunny andRead More →

I found this Spicy Avocado Sandwich recipe on The Coveteaur, and my boyfriend and I decided to make it. You really can’t go wrong with eggs and Avocado, which are perfect day or night.  Also, if your having friends over for Sunday brunch, it’s easy to make and would go great with Mimosas. We substituted the bacon for turkey bacon to make it a little bit healthier, and sometimes we’ll use croissants fresh from the bakery instead of ciabatta. Ingredients: – 2 tbsp mayonnaise – 1-2 tsp chalula (more or less depending on taste) – 1/2 avocado, sliced – 5-7 pieces aged gruyere, sliced – 3-5 slices ofRead More →
