Quarantine has been the “new normal” for the past two months, and now Los Angeles County has approved stay-at-home orders for at least another three. Being at home and in isolation can make you a little stir-crazy. There are some days where it’s hard to find the motivation to get out of bed. Being out of work and unable to do most activities that were usually part of my daily routine has been difficult. Giving yourself a routine during quarantine can lift your spirits, increase motivation, and be a perfect timeRead More →

Pumpkin Spice Waffles with Caramelized Almonds and Homemade Whipped Cream

December flies by and before you know it, we’re thinking about all the food we ate, and alcoholic beverages we consumed come January 1st, so lets try to fit in as muchRead More →

I found this Spicy Avocado Sandwich recipe on The Coveteaur, and my boyfriend and I decided to make it. You really can’t go wrong with eggs and Avocado, which are perfect day or night.  Also, if your having friends over for Sunday brunch, it’s easy to make and would go great with Mimosas. We substituted the bacon for turkey bacon to make it a little bit healthier, and sometimes we’ll use croissants fresh from the bakery instead of ciabatta. Ingredients: – 2 tbsp mayonnaise – 1-2 tsp chalula (more or less depending on taste) – 1/2 avocado, sliced – 5-7 pieces aged gruyere, sliced – 3-5 slices ofRead More →
