In a world where we must stay connected to keep up, you can find me with my phone super glued to my hand. Such a Millennial thing, right? My iPhone is an essential part of my everyday life because it assists in keeping me organized with my day-to-day tasks. Apple recently dropped a new component called Screen Time which allows you to look at how long you’ve been on your phone and what apps you use most. You can view the detailed activity reports by each day or each week. Currently, my weekly report has the excess screen time of 5 hours and 8 minutes.
During my hectic work week I don’t have any free time; my days consist of work and then heading to yoga in the evening. When the weekend arrives, I try to make the most of it by doing all the things I don’t have time to do during the week. 2018…wow where do I even begin? This year was one of the toughest years of my life, but also one of the best. I lost a lot, and I gained so much more. The year started out rough, but everything that happened only contributed to where I need to be today. I can honestly say I found myself this year and I am happy and grateful at where I am in life. As a Type A person I thrive on organization and planning. I have never been able to do things spontaneously and that’s why I’m a big fan of goal planning. Whenever I think of something I’d like to achieve I’ll jot it down in my iPhone or in my planner. At the end of each month I’ll look over what I’ve written down and I’ll create a list of goals that I would like to achieve for the month ahead and when I want to accomplish them by. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is a business self-help book I was introduced to during my Business Management program while in school for fashion design. I was never thrilled to have to read for class, but I became hooked on this one. It’s written by Stephen Covey and became one of his best-sellers, selling over 25 million copies worldwide. After reading it, I became inspired, and I felt heavily influenced to align my goals and ambitions to these habits. Autumn is my favorite season and to celebrate I indulge in everything pumpkin spice. l buy the seasonal fall products I’ve come to love, while trying out some new just released ones. Here are my picks (new and old), varying from food to beauty. Pumpkin Spice Everything! 1. Pumpkin Spice Ground Coffee | Starbucks: Once October rolls around, I refuse to drink coffee that isn’t pumpkin spice. I always brew my own at home with this Starbucks blend. I’m not a fan of PSLs because of the sugar so I stick to this flavored coffee because it has just the right kick of pumpkin spice.

I recently visited The Secret Rosé Garden, a pop-up cafe at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. I‘m obsessed with rosé and roses so as you can imagine I was ecstatic when I came across this limited-time event on Instagram and I knew I had to visit right away! This elegant installation was created to celebrate the hotels 90th anniversary, and by celebrate I mean they’ve recreated the famous Garden Lounge for our generation to enjoy. If you didn’t know, the Garden Lounge was a fixture of the hotel during the 1960s and 1970s. The Secret Rosé Garden is situated on the rooftop and features stunning views
