Summer is already halfway over (sigh) and it’s now time to do what's left on your bucket list, like attend a music festival perhaps? Here at A Girl in LA we have gathered nine of the best festivals that will take you all the way into September and included a playlist you can rock out to. Our list includes music of all genres, so no matter what you prefer, you’re going to find a festival you want to attend. We’ve put the price ranges on here (from general admission to VIP) and some of them are pretty pricey. When purchasing tickets you should be able to find better deals on third party websites like StubHub, TickPick and Ticket Stub.
For fans of classic rock, this 2-day festival is perfect for you. Listen to music from Journey, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers and Earth, Wind & Fire.

When: July 15th - 16th
Passes on Ticketmaster are mostly sold out and the ones that aren’t are extremely expensive. Your best bet would be to try StubHub where they start at $65.
If you live in the LA area I highly recommend checking this festival out. It’s definitely under the radar compared to another popular ones like Coachella, but each year the lineup keeps getting better and better. With a variety of genres, some of the headliners playing are Nine Inch Nails, Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest, Iggy Pop, MGMT and Beach Fossils.

When: July 21st - July 23rd
Prices range from $109 for a single day pass to $549 for a 3-day VIP pass.
This festival has been a staple in Los Angeles for several years and it’s always a good time. This years 2-day event features a variety of EDM and hip-hop artists like Rae Sremmurd, Zeds Dead, Justice DJ set, A-trak, Mobb Deep, AC Slater, Snoop Dogg, Bassnector, Migos, Destructo and Kill The Noise.
Where: The Speedway in Fontana, CA (Los Angeles area)
When: August 5th - 6th
Prices range from $99 for 1-day general admission to $159 for 2-day VIP passes. For overnight camping, prices range between $350 to $500. Hard Summer offers a payment plan when purchasing tickets.
With it being the 10th anniversary of Outside Lands, they aren't playing with their amazing lineup featuring artist of all genres. Hear a mix of bands, DJs, and singers like Metallica, The Who, Above & Beyond, Schoolboy Q, Future Islands, Lorde, Action Bronson and Empire of the Sun at this 3-day festival. So if you live in the bay area or just want to take a weekend trip, this is one of the festivals you shouldn’t miss!

When: August 11th - August 13th
Prices range from $150 for a single day general admission pass, to $375 for 3-day general admission pass.
This neighborhood block party is a music, art and entertainment festival held in the heart of Echo Park and it was named best music festival in 2016 by LA Weekly. The weekend long block party features musicians, beer gardens, food trucks and plenty of local businesses to support.

When: August 17th - 20th
This event is free and for all ages.
Not just a music festival (but there’s plenty of that), this 3-day event held in San Diego also has plenty of food, comedy and art. Some of the bands and musicians playing this year are The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Muse, Jane’s Addiction, David Guetta and Ice Cube.
Where: Del Mar Racetrack + Fairgrounds - San Diego, CA
When: September 15th - September 17th
Prices range from $295 to $839 for 3-day passes.
A combination of EDM, indie, hip-hop, alternative and pop music, this downtown Las Vegas festival has it all. Hear music from artists like Chance the Rapper, Blink-182, 2 Chainz, Zeds Dead, Capital Cities, Slightly Stoopid, Matoma, Muse, Kascade, Gorillaz, MGMT and Vince Staples.

When: September 22 - 24th
Passes for 3-day general admission are sold out, but there’s still 3-day VIP for $665. Again, check third-party sites for more options.
Put on by A-Trak’s Brooklyn-based record label, this annual festival takes place in cities all across the world, like Paris, London, New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles. The festival hosts tons of EDM sets and hip-hop artists. This year's Los Angeles lineup has yet to be announced and tickets aren’t on sale yet but you can join their mailing list to be notified.

TBA - based on ticket prices for the New York event they range from $10 to $125.
Presented by 89.9 KCRW Radio, this 2-day event of music, food and art is the perfect way to end summer. Listen to music from a ton of artists like Big Freedia to The Old 97’s. When you’re done, head to the tasting tent and try dishes from chefs based out of Long Beach and New Orleans.

When: September 30 - October 1st
