The Las Vegas Strip at night

Recently I spent five days and four nights vacationing on the Las Vegas Strip. It was my first time visiting Sin City which I know in this day and age, is practically unheard of. I left on a Saturday afternoon and met up with my parents who drove in from Arizona and arrived a few hours after me. The trip was fast moving since there was so much to do and see in such a short amount of time (two days consisted mainly of travel.) An ideal autumn day for me is devoting a Sunday afternoon shopping for produce at one of the many Los Angeles farmers’ markets.

Now that summer is over, I have a few rituals that help get me ready for the upcoming season. Growing up on the East Coast, the day after Labor Day signaled the official start to fall (even though the calendar says it doesn’t begin until the end of September).
