My staple clothing item is… well fitting high waist denim. I would never leave home without… my makeup touch up bag and a hairbrush. I stay fit by… jogging at a local park and attending group classes like barre, yoga, and cycling. In my spare time I… love to experiment with new recipes. The first thing I do in the morning is… CAFFEINE! Whether it’s my morning matcha, cold brew, or tea–I must get caffeine in my system, stat. The one thing I’ll let myself splurge on is… a tasting dinner by an acclaimed chef. My guilty pleasure is… foie gras. My beauty essentials include…Read More →

After closely monitoring NYFW 2018 runway shows, the top trends for fall/winter 2018 have been narrowed down; lilac, crazy animal prints, puffy furs, plaids, muted florals, miniature bags, fanny packs, sparkly socks, heeled mules, and slouchy boots. Trends this season are similar to previous years, but with a new approach focusing on interesting silhouettes and styling. Clothing will be very print focused with loose fitting styles. Instead of the accessories creating the finishing touches, the focal point will be on the garment themselves. Accessories this year will be very minimal. The 2018 Pantone color of the year, Ultra Violet will also be a large influenceRead More →

New York Fashion Week

An outfit is not complete until you have added the perfect accessory to give it the final touch. On the runway at New York Fashion Week the trends this year included berets, knee high boots, wide waist belts, mismatched earrings, bracelet handbags, and brooches. These trends aspire to make a bold statement when paired with any outfit. They are not meant to be conspicuous, but stand out whether paired with busy or simple ensembles. Oooh, la, la… a little taste of Paris is in this season. A beret is the perfect accessory to turn a bad hair day around.  Add a beret to make any outfitRead More →

I love living in Los Angeles because of the warm, year round climate, but I will admit I literally anticipate the arrival of the fall season all year.  Fall is my favorite season because for me it stands for sweater weather, pumpkin spice lattes, sugary scented candles, and a little reminder of home.  Being so accustomed to the warm Southern California temperatures, the second the temperature slightly drops, I know this is the perfect excuse to go shopping for a new fall wardrobe!! This year fall trends are inspired by New York Fashion Week fall 2017; pantsuits, fancy feathers, spliced tracksuits, corduroy, soft leather, andRead More →

I would never leave home without… my cellphone. I stay fit by… eating healthy, running, and strength training. In my spare time I… like to explore new places (hello, NYC!), shop, cook, listen to live music, spend time with my boyfriend and friends, and visit my parents’ beach house at the Connecticut shore. The first thing I do in the morning is… drink a Clean energy drink and check my emails. My style inspirations are… Zoe Kravitz, Ashlee Simpson, Serena Vanderwoodsen, Vanessa Hudgens, and Kate Moss. My favorite labels, designers, and shops are… Revolve, Rag & Bone, Gucci, UO, Superdown, One Teaspoon, Lovers + Friends,Read More →

One of my favorite things about spring aside from the longer days and warmer weather is putting my dark, big and bulky winterish clothing—(I live in LA), in the back of my closet, and putting my light and colorful wardrobe front and center. This is also a perfect time to decide what you no longer want (that’s a whole other topic), but more importantly what you need. Inspired by NYFW Spring 2017, vibrant stripes, trench coats, slogans and graphics, shoulder details, sportswear, seaside stripes and nautical inspired, nudes and tans, floral prints, iridescence, and bright and pastel solid colors are what you’ll be seeing a lotRead More →
