Memories of 2019, family photo on the beach

As I sit here on my flight to the East Coast, where I’ll be spending the rest of 2019 and ringing in the New Year, I’m reminiscing on the incredible year I’ve had. At the end of 2018, Nara and I did a “year in review” where we highlighted our favorite moments, trends, and what we wanted to remember. year in review

At the end of each year I like to look back and reflect on all the memories that made it special. With mostly ups (and a few downs), I can say 2018 was a remarkable year. Here is my year in review with my favorite moments. From pop-culture, to fashion trends, to life lessons, and the places I visited. Here are the little things that stood out in 2018. manicure

I went from getting my nails done at the salon every two weeks to doing my manicure at home. I look forward to the “me time” I spend on Sunday afternoons doing my nails while binge-watching a favorite TV show. Depending on the time of the year, what I’m doing, or where I’m going, I have specific colors I use that correlate with the occasion. Here are my tried-and-true manicure steps, along with my go-to colorsRead More →

cosmetics and beauty

My mornings begin with a cup of coffee while sitting at my vanity getting ready for the day. My job in fashion requires me to look put together at all times so I make sure that the products I choose are going to last. Often I’ll go straight from work to an event with just enough time to do a quick touch up. These are my can‘t live without cosmetics and beauty products that I buy over and over again. 1. Tattoo Liner | Kat Von D: This is the only eyeliner I can precisely create a wing with. It also stays on throughout the dayRead More →
