fall fashion trends

Nothing thrills me more than a change in season because it means going shopping for new clothing and accessories and changing up my wardrobe based on the upcoming trends. As we slowly approach our last days of summer, I have begun compiling a list of fashion pieces I must have this season. This year some fall fashion trends I’m looking forward to purchasing are an oversized puffer jacket, a pair of colorful faux fur heels, a square neckline dress, a pair of snakeskin pants, and some trendy metallic over-the-knee boots. I also can’t wait to add more leopard prints, statement pieces in the color mustard,Read More →

Evening Summer Soiree

I recently threw a party to celebrate my 25th birthday. Being a milestone, I wanted to host an extra special event, so I planned an evening summer soirée with my closest friends and family. I curated everything from the food and beverages, to the decor and the floral arrangements, with a few DIY projects in between. It was a magnificent event that took a lot of preparation but was so worth the effort. You will see that throwing a successful party can be made easier with the appropriate planning and a bit of creativity! Planning for the Event I knew it would be sunny andRead More →

50 Guilty Pleasures

From the sound of an ice cream truck to sitting by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa, to hearing raindrops hit the window, we all have favorite things that we love to indulge in. With the busy and demanding world that we live in, sometimes we look for pivotal moments in our lives to make us happy–graduations, new jobs, raises…and we sometimes forget the little everyday things that can bring us joy and happiness. I love reading what other people find comfort in, so I created a list of my 50 guilty pleasures in the hope of inspiring others. I also included someRead More →

Star Map

When my boyfriend and I moved into our new apartment we had a lot of white empty walls that we were looking to fill with unique artwork. We outgrew a lot of the previous pieces that were hanging up in our old apartment, or they no longer fit with the decor in our new place. We both have totally different styles; he’s into surrealism and I’m into trendy, street art, and pop art. However, there is once piece that we both equally agree on and thoroughly love which is our Star Map print by Modern Map Art. We collaborated with this digital design company thatRead More →

Fourth of July get-together

Last week my boyfriend and I decided to have a Fourth of July get-together at our apartment in Downtown Los Angeles. The idea was to invite our friends over for an evening gathering with food, drinks, music, and of course fireworks! Setting the Summer Vibe  I wanted to set up a pretty holiday display so I considered my centerpiece options. I decided on a white ceramic pineapple cookie jar that goes great with my kitchen table and a silver placement that resembled nautical rope, but with an elegant twist. I added seashells around the centerpiece to carry out the summer vibe. Pineapple cookie jar: Amazon |Read More →

All products are sulfate free with natural ingredients. The purpose of the hair care line is to allow consumers to obtain a salon experience from the comfort of their own homes. Yuko are the originators of the Japanese Hair Straightening System. The system works by breaking down hair bonds through a chemical process.
