I went from getting my nails done at the salon every two weeks to doing my manicure at home. I look forward to the “me time” I spend on Sunday afternoons doing my nails while binge-watching a favorite TV show. For inspiration I’ll watch Youtube tutorials on nail design and I follow nail technicians on Instagram. When I have extra time, I’ll apply nail decals, or do little designs. During the hot months I like to keep my makeup routine as simple as possible. There’s nothing worse than walking around or laying out in the extreme heat to feel that my skin can’t breath or to look in the mirror and see that my makeup is smudged and that it no longer looks like how it did when I left my apartment 20 minutes ago. Growing up on the east coast, fall has always been one of my favorite seasons.
