One of my favorite things about spring aside from the longer days and warmer weather is putting my dark, big and bulky winterish clothing—(I live in LA), in the back of my closet, and putting my light and colorful wardrobe front and center. This is also a perfect time to decide what you no longer want (that’s a whole other topic), but more importantly what you need. Inspired by NYFW Spring 2017, vibrant stripes, trench coats, slogans and graphics, shoulder details, sportswear, seaside stripes and nautical inspired, nudes and tans, floral prints, iridescence, and bright and pastel solid colors are what you’ll be seeing a lotRead More →

I have a love-hate relationship with moving. It’s something I’ve done many times and while I love moving into a new space, the process of boxing up everything I own isn’t something I particularly enjoy. I wish I could fast-forward that part and go straight to decorating. Me and my boyfriend’s lease was about to be up and we were outgrowing our current apartment, but instead of searching for a new building, we opted to stay in the same and go from the 7th floor to the 15th with panoramic view of DTLA. I’m obsessed! Last weekend we packed up all our things and asked our friendRead More →

January…the month when you’re torn between hibernating and keeping your New Year’s Resolutions (gym goals, volunteer, learn something new, take up yoga, wake up earlier, etc.) When half of the United States has temperatures 30 degrees and below, here are some things to get you through, and help you stay on track to make 2017 your best year yet. Bella Freud Parfum Candle, $70. In the cold months of January a lot of New Yorkers long for a vacation to somewhere sunny, I on the other hand love New York in the blistering cold (maybe because I don’t actually live there). This candle makes me feelRead More →

December in NYC

There’s no place like New York City, especially around the holidays. My boyfriend and I went for my Birthday (December 23rd), and Christmas Eve. There was so much to do and see, so we choose the top holiday spots, along with my some of my favorites. December 22, 2016 – Park Central Hotel We stayed at the Park Central Hotel in a premier room located in Midtown. It was convenient because it was three blocks from Central Park, about a half mile from Times Square, and located right between the upper east side and the upper west side. Times Square I’ve been to Times Square manyRead More →

Growing up on the east coast and spending every Christmas there, I couldn’t imagine being in a warm climate for the holidays. I need a few perfect 25-degree days with lots of snow. (Then I hurry on back to Los Angeles, and hope the winter here (aka rain) is short.) I do spend the first part of December in LA, and I started celebrating as soon as finished my Thanksgiving dinner. December flies by and before you know it, we’re thinking about all the food we ate, and alcoholic beverages we consumed come January 1st, so lets try to fit in as muchRead More →
