My Christmas wish list

Every year once I’m finished with my holiday shopping I create my Christmas wish list to make it easier on my friends and family. I’m hard to shop for because I like specific labels and particular pieces. As I was working on A Girl in LA’s annual gift guides, I came across so many things I fell in love with. From clothing, to jewelry, to items for my apartment. These are the top 20 gifts I’m asking for this Christmas. Doheny Blouse Sanctuary $89 This reminds me of something Blair Waldorf would wear. December in NYC

There’s no place like New York City, especially around the holidays. My boyfriend and I went for my Birthday (December 23rd), and Christmas Eve. There was so much to do and see, so we choose the top holiday spots, along with my some of my favorites. December flies by and before you know it, we’re thinking about all the food we ate, and alcoholic beverages we consumed come January 1st, so lets try to fit in as muchRead More →

In December like millions of others, I’ll be flying back home for the holidays. Take it from someone who’s had her fair share of flight drama, like a flight delayed overnight, canceled because of bad weather, luggage lost twice (one of the times it took four days to receive!), and lost my license the day before flying…that I’ve learned what and what not to pack in my carry on bag. A good book.  The Girls, $16.20 Makeup bag / samples. Usually when I buy makeup, they give free samples. I save those and pack them in my carry on. I think it all started with my love for the movie Marie Antoinette. The scene where she’s eating all the desserts, made me want cake, éclairs and macaroons ASAP. I had heard of Bottega Louie, and one day I was walking out of the apartment I had just moved into, and saw it was a few blocks down the street and decided to walk in. OMG…I became obsessed! It takes a lot of self-control to not walk in every time I pass by and order one of their desserts or buy a box of macaroons. Last year I bought my sister and my mom aRead More →
