We at a A Girl in LA love a good dose of nostalgia, so when we heard that Moschino was creating a ready to wear My Little Pony capsule collection, we instantly became obsessed. The line features mini dresses, tee shirts, skirts, jackets, handbags, cell phone cases, key chains and tons more of pastel colored ponies. The prices range from $75 – $1,295, but it’s well worth the splurge. You can view the whole collection right here.

The restaurant features small bites and cocktails that are served on the rooftop pool / bar which rivals other DTLA rooftop dining establishments. With real life crime stories making it to the small screen (The People v. O.J., the multiple JonBenét Ramsey series, and premiering in early 2018, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), there was sure to be a TV show made about the infamous Menendez brothers.
The first episode of the 8-part miniseries, Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders premiered this past Tuesday with a great cast. It stars Edie Falco (The Sopranos), Chris Bauer (True Blood), Anthony Edwards (ER), Heather Graham (Boogie Nights), Josh Charles (The Good Wife) and Miles Gaston Villanueva as Lyle Menendez and Gus Halper as Erik Menendez. The series starts off right after the murders and details how the detectives zoom in on the Menendez brothers, and then takes you through the trail. You probably already know how the it ends, but do you know all the details?

Although Tinseltown is known for many things such as celebrities, red carpet premieres, beautiful scenery, beautiful people, ocean views and mansions in the hills, it also happens to have a ton of ghosts roaming the streets and haunting buildings. According to those that believe in supernatural spirits, Los Angeles is one of the most haunted places in the world, and what better time to read about ghosts than in the month of October? Whether you’re reading because you truly believe in them or you’re reading out of curiosity, the book Haunted Hollywood will surely creep you out. The book has 25 stories about phantoms, hauntings and the spirits of Tinseltown. It is broken into three different parts, Part 1: Phantoms, Part 2: Spirits of the silver screen, and Part 3: Lists all the haunted locations. So light a fall candle and dim the lights and cozy up with this chilling book.
Los Angeles does Halloween and the fall like no other place. Sorry East Coast! What we lack in fall foliage, we make up for in parties, pumpkin patches and kickass costumes. We made a bucket list of all the things you’re going to want to do this season. DIY projects and recipes; must visit places; parties to attend; where to eat on Thanksgiving and cabins in the woods. We have it all! Our list will give you fun filled weekends all the way through the end of November.
Let’s be honest, blockbuster scary movies these days tend to be more of a comedy than a scarefest, so when we see one that has potential, we hope that it’s going to draw more chills than laughs and The Snowman looks creepy AF. The British crime thriller stars Michael Fassbender (Inglourious Basterds), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Melancholia), J.K. Simmons (Law & Order), Chloë Sevigny  (Big Love), and Val Kilmer (Top Gun).
Harry Hole (Fassbender) is an elite crime detective who’s in charge of investigating the disappearance of a victim on the first snowfall of winter. He starts to worry that the serial killer known as “The Snowman” is back to kill and must connect decades olds murders to defeat The Snowman before he strikes again.
